Indirect Taxes (WooCommerce)

Indirect taxes are those that are levied on good solds rather than directly on income. These can also be called consumer taxes. The most prominent indirect tax in the EU is VAT.

ePAL can calculate standard, reduced and zero rated indirect tax rates that apply to imported goods.

You can specify the address which will be used for this calculation in the settings.

Tax Providers

Tax providers provide tax rates to ePAL. You can select these in the ePAL Portal. For more information, see Providers UI.

Setting Custom Tax Rates

If you do not want to use the tax providers, you can set custom rates.

To set a custom rate, go to Settings > Products
